Mexican Death Mask

Vintage Mayan Aztec Death Mask Mexican Folk Art made of Semi Precious Stones like mother of pearl, and marble. This object was likely inspired by the Mask of Pakal. These masks were used in funerary rites and placed on the deceased to protect them on their journey to the afterlife and to honor them. This particularly masks downs not come with a stand. It can be placed as is standing or laying down over some coffee tables books.
