Vintage Dorothy Thorpe Cast Resin Figurine Rendition of "The Little Mermaid" A resin casting of a mermaid sitting on a rock. The ancient folklore subject is modernized by the translucent material that ranges from clear to citron. A distinctive design from Dorothy Thorpe from the 60’s. This sculpture is in vintage condition and some of the residue of the resin shows in some areas of the body of the sculpture which is to expected from this piece being from the 1960s ( please see last few photos for reference). Otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
